Chiropractic Care

The common goal for chiropractic care is to restore or enhance joint function, with the general goals of resolving join inflammation and reducing pain.

About 22 million Americans visit chiropractors annually. Of these, 7.7 million, or 35%, are seeking relief from back pain from various causes, including accidents, sport injuries, and muscle strains. Other complaints include pain in the neck, arms, and legs, and headaches.

In our office, we use an array of modalities and therapies to help reduce pain and inflammation.

A chiropractic adjustment refers to a chiropractor applying a force to the vertebrae that have abnormal movement patterns or fail to function normally. The objective of this chiropractic treatment is to reduce the subluxation (a slight misalignment of the vertebrae) with the goals of increasing range of motion, reducing nerve irritability and improving function.

Cold Laser Therapy is a therapeutic treatment to help reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain. In addition, it encourages cell tissue repair and growth.

Massage therapy is the practice of soft tissue manipulation with physical, functional, and in some cases psychological purposes and goals. It can help lessen back pain, improve range of motion, and allow the body to relax and rejuvenate

Chiropractic adjustments, laser therapy, and massage therapy are just a few of the modalities and therapies that our performed in our office. We also have additional passive therapies, rehabilitation care (including work strengthening exercises) and Functional Neurology care.
